Evelyn Hibbert

Forging unity amid diversity by making strangers friends

Evelyn lived in Eastern Europe for more than a decade. With her husband, she learnt the local language and culture, planted a church, and discipled a movement of thousands of new Christians. During that time, they also led a missionary team with people from seven ethnic backgrounds. Since then, she has been an international leader in several global organizations. As a consultant, she has helped several multicultural teams which were struggling. These days, one of her ministries is leadership development for Turkish-speaking Christians in Europe. Although they are poor and have limited education, they are starting and growing churches across Europe.
